Cometic C4157-030 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Bore Mitsubishi - 85mm 4G63T

The Cometic C4157-030 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for the Mitsubishi 4G63T DOHC turbocharged engine found in Evolution models 4 through 8. This gasket features a .030" (0.76mm) compressed thickness and an 85mm bore diameter, making it ideal for both stock rebuilds and performance applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under high boost and extreme temperatures
• .030" compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
• 85mm bore diameter perfectly matches 4G63T engine specifications
• Application-specific design for Mitsubishi Evolution 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 DOHC engines
• Engineered to handle the demands of turbocharged performance engines

Cometic's MLS gasket technology utilizes multiple layers of stainless steel with elastomeric coatings to create a gasket that can withstand extreme cylinder pressures while maintaining a reliable seal. The embossed layers provide multiple sealing points that adapt to thermal expansion and minor surface imperfections, making this gasket an excellent choice for both street and race applications.
