Product Details

The Gates 23884 Premium Modular Coolant Hose is an upper radiator-to-engine coolant hose engineered as a direct OEM replacement for select BMW vehicles. As a modular coolant hose, it is a complete assembly that integrates OEM-exact components — including a branch connector, quick connectors, and a bleeder valve — eliminating the need to source individual parts from a dealership.

Key Features:

  • Modular design: Hose assembly includes built-in components such as branch connectors, quick connectors, valves, sensors, and flow restrictors matching the original equipment layout
  • EPDM construction: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover for long service life
  • SAE certified: Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 for hose IDs under 25mm (1 in.) and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for IDs 25mm and over
  • Temperature range: Rated from -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • ECD resistant: Engineered with compounds that resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Dimensions: Centerline length approximately 11.5–12 in.; End 1 and End 2 inside diameter: 1.546 in. (39mm); Branch end inside diameter: 0.472 in.
  • OEM cross-references: Replaces BMW 11537505228, ACDelco 22736L, Dayco 72798 / D72798, NAPA 16554, Continental 67234, Rapro R19277

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed to ensure a proper, leak-free seal. The Gates 23884 is manufactured for applications dated September 1998 and newer.

Great

Went smoothly

so far so good

It was fast and painless, I hate online ordering that has a zillion different things to input, this was simple. Thanx...

The absolute best price around by far for the Diablosport Intune. Order left Autoplicity within a day of ordering and they quickly provided an email with tracking number. This company is everything you would expect from a better known store except the inflated price.

Received my product, it's just want I ordered. The shipping was fast too. Good for me!

Had the part I needed at a reasonable price. Speedy shipping.

Happy

I am extremely satisfied with Autoplicity in terms of service, price, and shipping. I was shopping for a set of N-FAB step bars for my truck and was ready to purchase from Amazon when I decided to look around to see if there were better prices. I stumbled upon Autoplicity and was surprised to see their price on the bars. I checked with their online chat customer service to confirm that they would fit my truck and that the price was for a pair of the bars and not just one. (That's how low the price was!). I then placed my order and the bars arrived at my doorstep 3 days later! Autoplicity gets an A+ in my book and I'll definitely be coming back.

Found the best price on my High Rock 4x4 Overhead Rack. They even discounted the shipping for me. Quick to ship and provide tracking info. Very happy with the way this company operates.
