The Genuine BMW Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor is a critical engine management component that monitors intake manifold pressure and transmits real-time data to the engine control unit (ECU). This sensor provides instantaneous manifold pressure information that is used to calculate air density and determine the engine's air mass flow rate, which determines the required fuel metering for optimum combustion and influences the advance or retard of ignition timing.

Autoplicity had the part I needed at a price half of the local autoparts store. Shipping is reasonable when multiple items are purchased, for one item the shipping charge seems high. Took them awhile to ship the order(3 full business days) which I think is too long, but they are the cheapest. Only other comment was I usedAmazon payments to pay and then got a coupl of emails from autoplicity asking me to complete my order, which I had already done.<br>Overall a pretty good experience and an excellent price.
