Four Seasons 83156 Aluminum A/C Filter Drier

The Four Seasons 83156 is an aluminum filter drier designed to maintain optimal performance in automotive air conditioning systems. This component plays a critical role in protecting the A/C system by removing moisture and contaminants that cannot be eliminated through flushing alone.

Key Features:

• Aluminum construction for lightweight durability and corrosion resistance
• High-quality desiccant bag efficiently absorbs moisture from the refrigerant system
• Quality welds provide a leak-free design for long-lasting performance
• Manufactured in ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001 certified facilities
• Includes necessary gaskets, o-rings, and seals for proper installation

Filter driers are essential maintenance components that must be replaced whenever the A/C system is serviced or opened. An open system can cause the desiccant to become saturated within hours, rendering the filter drier ineffective. Replacement is also required to validate compressor warranty. Four Seasons, a division of Standard Motor Products, has over 50 years of mobile A/C experience and is the largest aftermarket climate control parts supplier in the industry.
