IAP KG5557 Gas-a-Just High Pressure Monotube Rear Shock Absorber

The IAP KG5557 is a KYB Gas-a-Just high-pressure monotube shock absorber designed to deliver superior performance and handling over traditional twin-tube designs. This rear shock features advanced monotube technology that instantly adjusts to changing road conditions without experiencing fade due to aeration.

Key Features:

• High-Pressure Nitrogen Gas Design: Monotube construction with high-pressure nitrogen gas eliminates aeration for consistent performance and quicker response times
• Dual-Chamber Technology: Air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness paired with a floating piston design for comfort during normal driving
• Enhanced Damping Force: Up to 25% more damping performance over original equipment shocks for improved control and stability
• Superior Construction: Seamless cylinders and eye rings provide exceptional durability and fade-free performance
• Firmer Performance Ride: Engineered to provide better performance than stock shocks, ideal for vehicles that work, tow, or have larger tires and wheels

The KG5557 Gas-a-Just shock automatically adjusts damping force based on driving conditions, keeping tires firmly planted to the road surface. The high-pressure monotube design delivers the precise control and responsiveness that performance-minded drivers demand, making it an excellent upgrade for applications including Westfalia and camper vans.
