Product Details

The IAP 211611701 is a front brake hose designed for classic Volkswagen vehicles. This flexible rubber brake hose connects the steel brake line at the chassis to the wheel cylinder at the backing plate, allowing for suspension movement while maintaining hydraulic pressure in the braking system.

Key Specifications:

  • Length: 440mm (17.3 inches)
  • Position: Front left or right side
  • Thread Size: 10x1.0mm at both male and female ends
  • Construction: Flexible rubber construction with male/female fittings
  • SAE J1401 compliant for safety and reliability

Over time, brake hoses can deteriorate and collapse internally, which prevents proper brake release even though fluid can still flow to the wheel cylinders. Regular inspection and replacement of brake hoses is essential for maintaining safe braking performance. This hose is sold individually and is a direct replacement for the original equipment part.

Ordered an Fabtech steering box skidplate, best price I could find on the net was Autoplicity. Price was better than all the 4x4 sites I checked. Item is shipping directly from Mfg, so really can't comment on shipping speed. Otherwise, transaction was easy and I really like the fact they accept PayPal.

So far, so good. Best price I found. Very reasonable shipping. Parts were loose packed and rattled around a bit but nothing damaged. The hole for the EGR in the header was just a small hole and I had to drill it out. There were no instructions or any do

Everything was fine except I had an issue at the checkout. I tried to pay with my American Express but could not as there was an AVS mismatch, but it worked with my master card. I am in Australia and had the items sent to and American address so I would a
