Product Details

The Mopar Performance 04891797AB is a genuine OEM upper accessory drive belt idler pulley designed to maintain optimal tension on your vehicle's serpentine belt system. This critical engine component ensures smooth operation of essential accessories including the alternator, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor by keeping proper belt alignment and tension.

Key Features:

  • Genuine Mopar OEM replacement part for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles
  • Upper position idler pulley for serpentine belt systems
  • Compatible with 2.0L and 2.4L 4-cylinder DOHC engines
  • High-quality construction ensures reliable, long-lasting performance
  • Direct factory replacement for part number 4891797AA
  • Sold individually

This idler pulley is engineered to exact OEM specifications, providing the perfect fit and function for your vehicle's drive belt system. Common signs of a worn idler pulley include squeaking or chirping noises from the engine bay, visible wear on the pulley surface, or belt slippage. Replacing a failing idler pulley prevents potential belt failure and protects other engine accessories from damage.
