Product Details

The Milton Industries S614-6 is a 3/8" MNPT brass drain cock designed to replace old or damaged drain cocks on air compressor tanks. This essential maintenance component allows you to efficiently remove water condensation that accumulates in compressed air tanks during operation.

Key Features:

  • Durable brass body construction for corrosion resistance and long service life
  • Heavy-duty steel handle for reliable operation
  • 3/8" male NPT threading for standard compressor tank applications
  • Simple quarter-turn operation to drain accumulated water
  • Direct replacement for worn or leaking drain valves

Installation and Use: Always release all air pressure from the compressor tank before removing the old drain cock. Install the S614-6 using appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape. During routine maintenance, turn the handle to open the valve and drain accumulated water from the tank, then close securely when drainage is complete. Regular draining prevents rust and extends tank life.

Milton Industries also manufactures drain cocks in 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2" NPT sizes to accommodate various compressor tank configurations.

Easy to use

The engine oil dipstick was the wrong one for my car. Perhaps their automotive model database needs to be updated.

quick and easy

Smooth transaction decent price but would have preferred free shipping which made your lower price equal to your competitors higher pricing. Just sayin
