Product Details

The Pioneer Automotive 750185 is a drum brake self-adjuster cable designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's drum brake self-adjusting mechanism. This critical brake component connects the anchor pin to the adjuster lever, allowing the brake system to automatically compensate for brake shoe lining wear over time.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from high-quality materials for reliable performance and extended service life
  • Precision-engineered to meet OE specifications for proper fit and function
  • Restores automatic brake adjustment to maintain consistent pedal height and brake performance
  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged self-adjuster cables
  • Backed by Pioneer Automotive's decades of automotive parts manufacturing experience since 1946

The self-adjuster cable works with the adjuster lever mechanism to maintain proper brake shoe-to-drum clearance. When the brakes are applied and released during reverse operation, the cable pulls the lever to rotate the adjuster screw, compensating for lining wear. Replacing a worn or broken self-adjuster cable is essential for maintaining proper brake function and preventing excessive brake pedal travel.
