Product Details

The OTC Tools 4598-DOT3 is a convenient pen-style brake fluid tester designed to quickly and accurately measure moisture content in DOT-3 brake fluid. This essential diagnostic tool helps determine when brake fluid needs replacement by detecting moisture contamination that can compromise braking performance and cause corrosion in brake system components.

Key Features:

  • Measures moisture content from 0% to 4% in DOT-3 brake fluid
  • LED indicator lights clearly display moisture percentage levels
  • Compact pen-style design for easy storage and portability
  • Automatic shut-off after 12 seconds conserves battery life
  • Includes 1.5V AAA battery for immediate use
  • Simple operation with instant results

This tester provides a quick and reliable way to assess brake fluid condition during routine maintenance or when diagnosing brake system issues. Regular testing helps ensure optimal brake system performance and safety by identifying when moisture levels exceed safe operating limits.

Excellent

Fast, easy

Quality site with great prices!

Had my product in stock and ready to go. Ordered it at about 1 p.m. eastern time and got an email saying it was shipped out a couple hours later. Can't beat that! Lowest prices I've seen and has plenty of products to choose from. I will be recommending Autoplicity to everyone and anyone.

Good price, shipping discount--does not match what Google sees, but ok.
